I like the softness of all the different shades of pink against the stark black background. It’s colorful, but it’s a departure from my usual palette. It has transparent layers, but they are ever so slightly more opaque, which somehow shifts the mood more than I would have expected. It has a different vibe and I like it.
The matte black sides give this abstract painting a modern finish and make it ready to hang without a frame.
