Morning Shadows Original Framed Painting
This abstract floral painting is part of the Urban Eden Collection, inspired by the urban oasis Krista and her partner have created at their cottage in the middle of the city. It's a place where things grow wild and colorful new flora and fauna emerge daily in the spring sunshine and rainfall. You never know exactly what will appear, much like the process of creating these paintings.
Krista created each unique piece to evoke a different mood by building up many alternating layers of paint and masking fluid to achieve a range of gradients, textures and unexpected pops of color on natural raw canvas. Each painting evokes a different mood, but all are connected through their bold floral imagery and focus on the interplay between positive and negative space.
All paintings are finished with a UV protectant, matted with white mat board and placed in a black solid oak frame with a hanging wire.
